Adigeni town, centre of Adigeni region is located on the left bank of river Kvabliani, 1240 meters above the sea level.
Climate is temperately damp, winter is cold and the summer is long and cool.
Tbilisi-Batumi highway crosses Goderdzi Pass through Adigeni region. The other, Abastumani-Bagdad highway crosses the Meskheti Mountain range and Zekari Pass to Imereti region.
There are more than 100 historical monuments located on the territory of the region. Dense forest, several lakes, variety of animals makes the region attractive.

Aspindza District
Total territory 825.3 sqm; population 13 010 (82% Georgians, 7.58% Armenians); 12 village administrative units, 23 villages. Distance from Akhaltsikhe: 32 km, from Tbilisi – 239 km.
Aspindza town is located at the joint of the rivers Mtkvari and Oti, at the Georgian – Turkey boarder, 1090 m above sea level. Climate is mountain steppe; winter is cold, summer – long and warm.
Aspindza is crossed by Akhaltsikhe-Akhalkalaki road. There are available joints, peripheral neural system and gynecological problems treatment water and local balneal resort in region.

Akhalkalaki is the center of Javakheti region. It is located between rivers Paravani and Krkh-Bulakh (Murjakheti) on the 1750 m above the sea level. Climate is like mountain steppe, with cold winter and cool summer. The history of settlement begins from ancient time. Ruins of the castle build by Bagrat the 4th in 1064 are situated in the center of the city.
There is regional museum, branch of Tbilisi State University, park, auto station, hospital, restaurants, shops, petrol pumps, drug stores in the city. The Batumi-Tbilisi-Yerevan highway crosses Akhalkalaki. The region has big traditions of diary and industry.

City of Akhaltsikhe is the administrative center of Samtskhe-Javakheti region. It is situated on both banks of river Potskhovi, 1000 m. Above sea-level. Climate is of mountain steppe, winter is cold and summer is warm and long. There is the balneal resort and water in the city for joints, periphery-neural system and gynecological treatment. Akhaltsikhe is located in 207 km from Tbilisi.

Distance from Akhaltsikhe 50 km, from Tbilisi – 160 km. Borjomi is one of the most important resort region of Georgia. Borjomi city is situated in joint of rivers Mtkhvari, Borjomula (Black-Water) and Gujarula, in the picturesque gorge. It is bounded by the mountain with evergreen forests of pine-tree, fir and silver fir. Borjomi is on 810 m. above the sea lever, winter is cold and summer temperately hot.

Ninotsminda region is situated on the javakhety volcanic valley, in the extreme south of Georgia, on the border of Turkey and Armenia. The lowest point of the region is on 1800 m above the sea level, and the highest – 3189 m (m. Godorebi). Climate is mountain steppe, winter is cold and long (160 days are snowy during the year) and summer is cool.
Plenty of lakes are in the region: Paravani, Khanchali, Sagamo, Modatapi, Bugasheni. Those lakes freeze in the winter, the fishing is handy and pleasant in the summer.
